Volunteer Opportunities for Individuals:

Individuals have many opportunities to have a rewarding experience volunteering here at the City Rescue Mission.  Here are some examples of volunteer opportities for individuals:

  • Piano Player(s) needed for 8 am weekday or 7pm Sunday chapel services.
  • Financial Literacy and Life Skills Teachers needed for our Men's Ministry.
  • Tutors/Coaches/Craft helpers needed for children at the Sankey Center's After-School Program; Monday through Thursday only, 3:30-5pm.
  • Administrative Office or our Family Care Ministry (weekday, daytime) help needed with general office duties and/or data entry.
  • Strong Men/Women of faith needed to mentor and disciple residents of our Covenant House Women and Family Shelter and our True Life Men's Ministry.
  • If you like to take pictures, we need you!  We need someone to take pictures of the daily activities of the Mission.  Opportunties are available for all times and days of the week.
  • Do you have graphics or publishing talent?  Help us make our web site and printed publications shine.
  • If you have a special talent, please let us know!  We likely will have a need for it!
