Dear Friends and Partners In Hope,

I serve a risen Savior; He's in the world today...

This old hymn is one of my favorites--and every time we sing it in our morning chapel service, I find myself humming it all day long.  It puts a spring into my step, and the moving lyrics reawaken my soul to the many ways Christ Jesus is present in every aspect of this ministry...

I see His hand of mercy on the women and mothers who have found peace and serenity--and are healing from wounds of all magnitudes--in the beautiful, God-filled setting of our Covenant House shelter.

I see His voice of cheer in the laughter, the chatter, and the heartwarming noises of children simply being children in the safe and loving surroundings of our Sanky Youth Center. 

And just the time I need Him, He's always near in the loyal partnership and warm friendship you and other Partners In Hope offer so graciously.

He lives!  He Lives!  Christ Jesus lives today!  Indeed He does.  In every prayer ... every smile ... every word of encouragement ... every hug ... and in every act of Christian guidance, mentoring and love that you and our other Partners in Hope help make possible.  I'm so grateful for the opportunity we all share:  to serve the risen Savior...who lives within our hearts.
