CLIENT LIAISON/OFFICE ASSISTANT

Family Care Ministry


Part time position:  Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.


Responsibilities:

·         Conduct client intakes while also ministering to the spiritual health of the client.

·         Must be willing to pray with clients.

·         Keep detailed client case notes.

·         Maintain client records on database.

·         Keep office neat and maintain organized files.

·         Keep daily statistics for monthly reports.

·         Welcome Clients/Donors as they enter.

·         Answer phone /schedule client appointments. 

·         Assist with retrieving client: food orders, hygiene items, etc..

·         Assist with weighing and recording donations.

·         Assist with planning and executing special programs

·         Be able to lead the ministry in the absence of the Family Care Ministry Director.

·         Accept additional responsibilities as needed.


Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

·         Associates Degree or High School Diploma/G.E.D.

·         Intermediate knowledge and use of Microsoft Excel, and Word. Must possess the ability to learn other software applications.

·         The knowledge to lead someone to salvation in Jesus Christ.


As all staff are considered Evangelical Christian missionaries, a Christian testimony exemplifying Jesus Christ and the ability to share the Gospel as opportunities arise is required. Acceptance of the City Rescue Mission Doctrinal Statement of which the foundation is the essence of the Gospel consists of the doctrine of salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ’s atonement and not by works. A written statement of Christian Testimony that describes how, when, and why the applicant came to faith in Jesus is required to be considered for employment.
