CITY RESCUE MISSION
MINISTRIES OVERVIEW
Try out this phrase: The ministries of the City Rescue Mission, "a place where miracles happen." Consider those words for a minute - "where miracles happen".
Since 1911, the City Rescue Mission has been a light shining against the darkness to the lost, lonely and left-behind. As we offer a hot meal, a place to sleep, and the hope of Jesus Christ...we get to see miracles happen every day in the lives of men, women and children who come to our ministries.

OUR MINISTRIES
Men's Ministry
Changed lives are the goal of the Men’s Ministry. Since 1911, tens of thousands of men have come through the doors of the Mission. Through several different approaches, the Men’s Ministry cares for hungry, homeless and hurting people.
Women's Ministry
Many different circumstances bring homeless women to the City Rescue Mission's emergency shelter for women and children. They come looking for a safe place to stay for themselves and their children where they can regroup their lives.
Family Care Ministry
The Family Care Ministry provides assistance to families in need such as food, personal care items, household products, clothing, prayer, and wise counsel. Many families served are in crisis due to unemployment, underemployment, medical crisis, or poverty.
Youth Ministry
The City Rescue Mission's Youth Ministry sponsors special event, sports, and spiritual programs for youth at it's Sankey Center located on Grant Street in New Castle. The Sankey Center is home to Centershot Archery for kids and teens age 9 to 18.
