Distribution of Thanksgiving Baskets will take place on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at the Sankey Center. Recipient must provide proof of identification matching application at pick up. Only one application per household will be accepted, residents from Lawrence County only. 


Everyone is invited to enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving meal served in the Mission's community kitchen on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 24 at 12:00 pm. Chapel service will take place beforehand at 11:30 am. 


Donate Food

Want to help feed hungry families? Donate food for Thanksgiving Baskets!

Help families celebrate Thanksgiving with all the fixings for a traditional Thanksgiving Meal. You, your church, or group can collect and donate any of the following items:

  • Canned Yams
  • Stuffing Mix
  • Canned Gravy
  • Evaporated Milk
  • Pie Crust Mix
  • Pie Filling (Pumpkin or Fruit)
  • Cranberry Sauce
  • Canned Vegetables and Fruit
  • $ for Birds (Turkeys and Chickens)


Please do not include any refrigerated items. Donations can be dropped off at the Family Care Ministry (319 S. Croton Ave., New Castle) Now through Wednesday, November 16th, on Mondays through Fridays, 9:00 am -  3:30 pm.


Donations can be dropped off at the Sankey Center (125 W. Grant St., New Castle) on Thursday November 17th and Friday November 18th from 9:00 am - 3:30 pm.
