2026 "Fill Up Our Cup" Drive

There is no better way to share warmth
and kindness than to offer a hot cup of coffee on a cold winter day.  Each winter, we serve thousands of cups of coffee to those seeking shelter and warmth at the City Rescue Mission.

One way you can help us to care for the hurting and homeless this winter is by collecting and donating coffee - any brand is fine and we're happy to take cans, pods, or packets.   We'll be conducting an official "Fill Up Our Cup" coffee drive during the month of January, but donations will be greatly appreciated any time during the cold weather season and all year long.

Our goal is to restock our coffee supply during the month of January 2026. Accessories are also welcome.

Please help us meet our goal by purchasing coffee and then drop off your donation at the Mission at 319 S Croton Avenue, New Castle,PA.

New Collaboration with Visit Lawrence County for 2026!

The City Rescue Mission is excited to announce a collaboration with Visit Lawrence County to help raise ground coffee donations for this year's January coffee drive.

For the entire month of January, coffee donation bins will be available at our participating coffee shops for customers to drop off their donations or buy ground coffee to donate. Have your passport stamped at a participating location to win a City Rescue Mission coffee mug. Only one donation is required to win
 City Rescue Mission mug. 

Ginny Jacob Colella, Assistant Director of Visit Lawrence County, was quoted “The goal was to showcase our local coffee shops with the help of our community and build pride for where they live. Since, this is the season for giving back,
teaming up with the City Rescue Mission to help them reach their ground coffee donations, was an instant yes. The City Rescue Mission relies on the January coffee drive to sustain their coffee supply for the entire year.“
