SPIRITUAL CARE
SPIRITUAL CARE
Each ministry of the City Rescue Mission incorporates spiritual care into it's programming.
MEN'S MINISTRY
Weekday mornings (8 a.m.), Thursday evening (6 p.m.), and Sunday evening (6 p.m.) services are held in McKinney Chapel. Attendance is required for all Recovery Program participants and Crossroads emergency shelter guests. Community guests are welcome to attend. The Men's Ministry staff of ministers conduct the services, or Pastors from the community volunteer to lead the worship service. The Mission's Recovery Program incorporates intensive biblical discipleship into every aspect of the participants experience.
WOMEN'S MINISTRY
Guests of the Women's Ministry enjoy daily morning devotions and Sunday attendance at local churches. The Celebrate Recovery curriculum is used to help guests dealing with their hurts, habits and hangups. The caring staff are available to pray for and provide spiritual counseling to guests.
FAMILY CARE MINISTRY
The caring and compassionate staff of the Family Care Ministry enjoy ministering to clients through prayer, spiritual counseling and evangelism. At the Family Care Ministry, visitors receive more than a bag of food. They experience the love of Christ demonstrated by the caring staff missionaries and volunteers.
YOUTH MINISTRY
All youth programming contains a component of bible study and sharing of the Gospel.
